I have been thankful all week in anticipation of the Christmas season at Gateway. I love our focus on the the birth of Christ throughout the month of December. We have wonderful activites planned throughout the month and trust you will be able to take part. We love and hold up each of you in prayer. We pray this season will be a blessing and each of you will be a blessing as well.

I remember when I was boy my mother getting everything ready for Christmas. We would all help out and deep- clean the house. My mom would begin baking and preparing for the Christmas dinner. In our home the Christmas tree went up close to Christmas day. I love this time of year. In 1989 both Linda and I began our journey with Jesus and for the first time had a true understanding that Jesus is the reason for the season. Linda and I continue the tradition like many people do at this time of year. We make sure our home is clean and decorated. Christmas worship fills our home and makes everything feel so peaceful.
